Human Physiology

The department offers the M.Sc and Ph.D programmes in Human Physiology. Admission requirements for the programmes are as follows: O'level: All candidates must have five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology obtained at not more than two sittings. Master's Degree: The candidate must have a first degree in the relevant discipline with an FCGPA of not less than 3.0 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University. Holders of Bachelor's Degree in Physiology, Candidates with degrees related to Physiology such as Zoology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiotherapy, and Pharmacology. Holders of MBBS, BDS, or DVM degrees. Ph.D Programme: A candidate who holds a master's degree in a relevant discipline with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied. Candidates with M.Sc degree in Human Physiology from this or other recognized Universities.
